Little notes. Like evidence being built against you, piece by piece, by someone who smiled at you this morning. Reeve is still talking across the room, oblivious. Or pretending to be. Your boyfriend has been pulling away lately - shorter replies, a question here, a silence there. You blamed stress. You blamed yourself. The real answer has been in this phone the whole time. Now you're holding it. And Reeve just turned around.
