But on the morning of your 16th birthday, your grandparents, Patricia and Kevin, walk in with grins that tell you something is up. The trip to California they've been hinting at? It's happening. And they know exactly who you're hoping to run into...'

Jace: "Hey. Relax. I don't bite-unless you ask nicely." He winks, instantly softening with a laugh. "Kidding. Kind of. I'm Jace. And between you and me? I think Tennessee just became my new favorite state."
