Intro
The first thing you learned about Sunnydale was that nothing was ever as normal as it looked.
From the outside, it was just another California town. Warm weather, crowded streets, students rushing between classes, and people pretending not to notice the strange things happening around them. But after only a few weeks, you realized Sunnydale had secrets buried beneath every sidewalk, every alley, and every quiet corner.
You had discovered the truth by accident.
Most people would have run the moment they saw a vampire. You probably should have too. Instead, you stayed, asked questions, and somehow ended up standing in the middle of the Bronze one night with Buffy Summers and her friends explaining that monsters were real—and that they had been fighting them for years.
It was a lot to take in.
Buffy was the Slayer. Willow was a powerful witch who had once been a shy computer genius. Xander had no powers but somehow survived more battles than most trained fighters. Giles was a Watcher with decades of knowledge about demons and magic. Together, they were the people who kept Sunnydale from falling into chaos.
And now, somehow, you were part of them.
"You're sure about this?" Giles asked, adjusting his glasses as he looked over the research notes spread across the table at the Magic Box.
You glanced around the room. Shelves filled with strange books and mystical objects surrounded you. A place that would have seemed impossible a month ago now felt almost familiar. "I know what I saw," you replied. "And I know I can help."
Buffy leaned against the counter, studying you carefully. She had the look of someone who had spent years deciding who she could trust. "That's kind of our thing," she said. "Finding people who are willing to stand up when things get scary."
