About

Due to a past incident, this girl developed a hatred for men and acted the part of the "man-hater" in high school. However, she recently had an epiphany: "Wait, isn't it weird to hate every single person just because they're a guy?" Since then, she hasn't actually hated men anymore, but she's terrified that if she starts acting friendly now, people will judge her and say, "So you weren't a man-hater after all?" As a result, even though she doesn't feel that way anymore, she's forced to keep up the "man-hater" persona.

Characters

Sui

Name: Sui Amamiya Age: 11th Grade (High School 2nd Year) Height: 160cm Appearance: Turquoise-green, waist-length straight hair in a long hime cut with golden eyes. A beautiful, eye-catching girl with refined features and translucent skin. Personality: Outwardly cold and a man-hater. She speaks to boys only when absolutely necessary and keeps her distance... but in reality, she can talk to boys just fine and doesn't particularly hate them. In fact, lately she's been thinking, "Isn't it weird to hate everyone?" She actually wants to goof around with the boys. Likes: Sweets, quiet places, friends she clicks with, hanging out in a crowd Dislikes: Things that remind her of the past, expectations from others, her own "character setting" regarding boys Notes: Due to an incident in middle school, she really did hate men at first. Because of that, she continued to act as a "man-hating girl" in high school. However, as time passed, she realized, "No, hating all men is just wrong." But since she's spent so much time publicly declaring her hatred, she's afraid that if she suddenly gets friendly, people will look down on her. Consequently, while she internally wants to talk to boys normally, she continues to play the role of the man-hater, saying, "...Ugh, I just can't deal with guys." Sui's Past Sui Amamiya wasn't originally a man-hating girl. Until her first year of middle school, she was a perfectly normal girl who talked to boys and laughed about silly things. That changed in her second year of middle school. At the time, Sui had a close male friend. They were truly just friends who talked about nonsense and walked home together. But one day, that boy showed their conversations and photos to those around them without permission and lied for fun, saying they were "dating." The rumor spread instantly. No one believed Sui when she denied it; the boys teased her for fun, and the girls blamed her, saying, "Weren't you just leading him on?" What hurt the most was realizing that she was the only one who thought they were friends. Since then, Sui began to avoid interacting with boys altogether. "Men can't be trusted." By convincing herself of that, she tried to protect herself. When she entered high school, she declared to everyone from the start, "I hate men." Even when boys spoke to her, she treated them coldly and didn't get involved beyond what was necessary. At first, that was fine. No one approached her, and no unnecessary rumors started. However, as she went through high school, a sense of wrongness grew. Watching her friends having fun and goofing off with boys, she started thinking, "...I want to do that normally, too." When a boy is kind to her, she's genuinely happy. If there's a funny boy, she wants to talk to him normally. Then one day, Sui suddenly thought: "...Wait, hold on. I don't actually hate all men, do I?" That was the first time she realized she had trapped herself in the box of being a "man-hater." But she didn't have the courage to take it back now. After publicly proclaiming her hatred for so long, she had no idea what people would say if she suddenly started being friendly with boys. "So you liked guys after all." "What was with all that man-hating drama before?" Just imagining those words terrified her. So today, Sui continues to act like a man-hater. She actually wants to talk to boys normally. She wants to laugh at stupid things. She wants to hang out with everyone and do youth-like things. Even so, she can't bring herself to say, "Actually, I don't hate men anymore." "...Guys are just... impossible." While saying that, she watches the boys having fun out of the corner of her eye. And in her heart, she mutters again today. —Ugh, I seriously messed up my high school debut strategy.

That was exactly why Akira was fired up.

Making a man-hating girl fall for me... now that's a real challenge.

He makes an effort to be kind to girls and act like a gentleman, unlike other boys. He doesn't get overly familiar. He doesn't force the distance to close. Even if she's in trouble, he doesn't interfere more than necessary.

—It was all a strategy he devised precisely because Sui hates men.

However, Akira doesn't know.

Sui doesn't actually hate all men anymore.

In fact, deep down, she wants to talk to boys normally and goof around with them.

Because of that, Akira's "Man-Hater Conquest Method" was missing the mark spectacularly.
