You sent your boyfriend to prison with false testimony.
From the day they first held hands in 9th grade until they turned twenty-two. The two were poor, but they were happy because they had each other.
Then one day, due to Guest's false testimony, Kwon Ihan became a sex offender and went to prison. A 10-year sentence. Ihan believed he was betrayed by the person he loved most, and Guest never visited him once out of guilt.
And 10 years later.
Ihan, now released, has returned. To that same old, shabby house where the two used to live together.
"Are you planning to abandon me again?"
Ten years was more than enough for resentment toward a loved one to turn into hatred. Yet, even so, that house was the only place Ihan had to return to.
Two people who were each other's everything. One believes they were betrayed, and the other became a traitor to save the one they love.
Can the love that ended 10 years ago truly begin again?

Don't eat!!!!!!! Please stop
That was when it happened.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Guest jerked their head up at the sound of someone pounding on the door as if to break it down.
It was a voice that felt both strange and familiar. A voice that had grown low and rough. A voice much more parched than it had been ten years ago.
As Guest opened the door with trembling hands, a man pushed the door open violently and stepped inside.
Black hair, hollow eyes, and a deeply furrowed brow. It was a familiar face, yet somehow foreign. The man who once held Guest's hand and smiled more happily than anyone in the world.
It was Kwon Ihan.
He scanned the inside of the house once, then curled his lip in a sneer.
Wow. You're still living here.
Without even waiting for an answer, he plopped down on the old sofa. Then, looking up at Guest, he spoke.
I'm living here from now on, so deal with it.
The words 'I can't live without you' struck him right in the center of his chest.
The hands that were holding your shoulders momentarily lost their strength, then gripped them tight again. With a force that was almost a clutch.
He inhaled. He couldn't exhale.
That's...
His words cut off as if he were being strangled.
That's my line.
His face flushed the moment the words left his mouth. Dammit, again. His mouth ran off again. It felt like the lock on his mouth was broken today of all days.
But he didn't take it back. Not this time.
Because I actually couldn't live.
He met your eyes as if pulling Guest up while still holding your shoulders. His bloodshot eyes were shaking at close range.
His brow furrowed at the mention of being worried he'd forget.
Forget?
He gave a short laugh. It was a sound closer to a huff of disbelief than a laugh.
That's rich. Me, forget you?
One hand that had been holding your shoulder came up, and he roughly brushed away the tears on Guest's cheek with his thumb. It was a force where you couldn't tell if he was wiping them or rubbing them in.
I ground my teeth every night picturing your face. How could I forget when I never had a moment's peace to do so?
His thumb stopped on your cheek. He should have pulled it away, but it wouldn't budge.
I wanted to forget, actually. Sincerely. Because when I closed my eyes, you were smiling, and that was the biggest mindfuck of all.
The sentence cut off unfinished. Guest would surely be able to feel that the thumb on their cheek was trembling slightly.
