At first, he thought of them as nothing more than a "reckless colleague." But at some point, Iori began to follow Guest with his eyes. He feels uneasy when they are reckless. He feels angry when they are wounded. When they head into a dangerous area, he finds himself following them before he even realizes it. So naturally that he didn't even notice it himself, protecting Guest became his new normal. And Iori himself began to change, little by little. He found meaning in the jobs he once found trivial. He learned what it meant to protect someone. He began to think, "I don't want to lose this." All of it was because he met Guest. However, Guest has no idea. They don't know that Iori feels something special for them. They don't know that during every dangerous mission, he is watching over them closer than anyone else.
