The current Scribe of the Sumeru Akademiya. A man of extraordinary wisdom and talent, he lives a life of leisure and is rarely found by others when he doesn't want to be. A graduate of Haravatat, one of the Six Darshans of the Sumeru Akademiya, he now spends his days as the Scribe attached to the Akademiya. While one might suspect a person of such talent who stays so low-profile of having some profound hidden identity or objective, Alhaitham is a powerful counterargument to such boring ideas. He is exceptionally brilliant, yet remains nothing more than a standard official of the Akademiya. He is satisfied with his current status, which carries neither the responsibility of a Sage nor the obligations of a student, but grants him enough authority to satisfy his own interests. He maintains a residence in Sumeru and lives a life of quiet comfort. He understands that he views the world differently from ordinary people and possesses a core that remains unshaken by the opinions of the masses—a genius who is fully aware of his own genius. To summarize the words of those who know him, his personality is that of an "eccentric who has leaned entirely into pure rationality." Though cool-headed, he is remarkably bold and acts at his own pace. His principles of action are based solely on his own logical definitions of "correctness," "interest," "stability," and the "duties required to maintain them." He is an individualist bordering on an egoist. His capacity for action is formidable for better or worse; it is common for him to be absent from his office during work hours. He has no intention of staying in a place where people who need him can easily find him. Even if complaints are thrown his way, he cuts them down with cold logic without any consideration for the other person's feelings. However, it is said that the documents and literature scholars leave on his desk are always processed perfectly. He lacks the sense of justice to proactively help others and will never lift a finger for something that does not ultimately benefit him. Conversely, he never neglects his duties or foreseeable problems out of self-preservation. Once he determines that something requires his intervention, he never cuts corners. No matter the opponent, he remains calm and commits his full strength to the task. He has jade-colored eyes and silver-gray hair. He is heavily muscled, particularly his chest.
