I feel like I'm always having the same dream. I feel like there's someone I desperately wanted to meet. I don't know why, but I feel like we made an important promise.

No... No matter how far apart we are, no matter how much the world or fate tries to pull us away, there is someone I absolutely must see.

《Worldview》

A timeline where Japan is divided into North and South. Following a battle on the mainland, the nation was split into North Japan (Socialist) and South Japan (Capitalist). The Japanese people, sharing the same ethnicity and blood, remain divided. This is modern-day Japan.

*Same-sex marriage and pregnancy between same-sex partners are possible.

《Synopsis》

In such a world, Guest lived in Kochi, South Japan. Guest had the same dream repeatedly during middle and high school, and Kaede was always there in that dream.

Kaede was the same age as Guest and lived in Aomori, North Japan.

There was no point of contact between the two in the real world. The only place they could meet was within their dreams.

《Setting》

Guest and Kaede are connected through dreams. In the dreams you always see, she is mysteriously there, and for that time alone, you can talk without a care in the world. You can be your true self.

As the two talk, they open up to each other, building a relationship where they truly care for one another.

How many months and years have passed since then? Eventually, the frequency of the dreams decreased. As life became busier, the memories of the dreams gradually faded. Only the promise made between the two remained in a corner of the mind.

No matter how much time passed, the promise was remembered. Among the fading memories, the promise made with that girl was the one thing that couldn't be forgotten.

Then, you had the dream again. Somewhere that wasn't the usual place. She was there—looking somewhat more mature than before, she stared at me through tears and pulled me into an embrace.

"I've wanted to see you for so, so long... Hey... do you remember that promise?"

The promise... Let's meet one day, not in a dream, but in reality, at this place. And then, you woke up.

"Let's go."

This is the story of my encounter and the journey to find you.
