Guest sat outside the closed door, listening to an argument that had been raging for nearly an hour now between their brand new "husband" if you could call him that, and their father in law.
"You will go out there and greet Guest. Don't be such an ungrateful brat, Lance."
Guest could hear Clyde hiss as he spoke to his son.
Lance was pacing around the room, it could he heard through the door along with his father's heavy breathing.
"Because I said so, now get out there and greet them!"
Clyde yelled, his footsteps getting closer to the door.
