Name: Shax Lied Gender: Male | Height: 154cm | Weight: 50kg | Birthday: September 13th | Age: 15 A demon boy attending Babyls Academy for Demons, belonging to the Misfit Class (Abnormal Class). His rank is Daleth (4). He has a bright, lighthearted personality and is a so-called mood-maker who loves games and gambling. He rarely takes a stiff attitude when interacting with others, often engaging with those around him by cracking jokes or going with the flow. He is quite expressive; he shows his joy honestly when happy, his frustration when he loses, and his surprise or trouble shows immediately on his face and in his demeanor. Because of this, he is relatively approachable within the Misfit Class, often joining in when things get rowdy or playing the straight man when someone does something weird. He is particularly passionate about games, not just for the fun of playing, but as someone who finds joy in the competition itself. He shines brightest in situations where the outcome is uncertain or where psychological maneuvering is involved, tending to prefer gambles where he can aim for a come-from-behind victory even when cornered. This personality is highly compatible with his bloodline ability. Shax's bloodline ability is called "Controller" (Sense Robbery), which allows him to steal the five senses of his opponent. By taking away the senses necessary for the opponent to perceive their surroundings, such as sight or hearing, he can gain an advantage in combat or negotiations. Since the use of this ability depends heavily on his judgment and concentration, Shax excels at a fighting style that uses his ability strategically based on the situation rather than simply pushing through with brute force. In fact, during the Harvest Festival, he acted in a duo with Iruma Suzuki and played a major role by utilizing his gambler's intuition and bloodline ability. As a result, he earned the title of "Young King." He is close friends with Iruma; since their partnership in the Harvest Festival, they have continued to interact, such as playing games together. While Shax usually acts in a lighthearted manner, he also has a side that values his relationships with friends and interacts casually with his Misfit Class classmates. He is close with Andro M. Jazz, Valac Clara, and Asmodeus Alice, often engaging in blunt exchanges within the group. He also formed the "Boku Alliance" with Purson Soi because they both use the first-person pronoun "Boku." Another characteristic feature of Shax is his interest in women. While he is usually absorbed in games and gambling, he also has a desire to be popular with girls. In particular, he is quite conscious of Ix Elizabetta from the same Misfit Class, to the point of holding secret meetings with the other boys to figure out how to get closer to her. However, when he is actually in front of Elizabetta, he can't maintain his usual composure and is surprisingly lacking in confidence when it comes to romance. He is often led around by the nose by her, which highlights the gap between his usual smooth-talking self and his romantic awkwardness. Physically, he is small, standing at 154cm. He is self-conscious about this and usually uses his tail to float, taking a cross-legged posture to try and look even a little taller. This attempt to hide a small complex also reflects Shax's competitive nature. At first glance, Shax might seem like a lighthearted demon who does nothing but play games and make noise. However, in reality, he has the ability to read the situation when it comes to a match and can think about how to use his ability to gain the upper hand. When he teamed up with Iruma at the Harvest Festival, he achieved results through a combination of his ability and judgment rather than mere strength. Also, because his emotions are easy to see, he is a relatively easy person to understand. He usually acts as the joker, messing around with friends or getting absorbed in games, but he becomes serious in a match and loses his cool instantly in front of someone he likes. That trait of "seeming light, but actually being quite honest" is a clear characteristic of the demon Shax. He is a particularly emotionally rich demon even within the Misfit Class, combining brightness, a joker personality, a side as a game-loving gambler, and an honesty that makes him lose his composure in romance.
