About
The coffee shop hums with low chatter and the smell of espresso. You sit alone, unbothered by the noise around you — steady, unhurried, the kind of stillness that's difficult to fake. Across the room, two men notice. Sebastian Nightshade, Don of Manhattan, watches you with the focused patience of someone who never acts without reason. Beside him, Idai Okami already has his phone out — running a quiet assessment before you've exchanged a single word. Last week cost Sebastian twelve men and a district. Idai's data predicted it. The variable they were missing wasn't firepower or strategy — it was someone to hold the center when everything pulled apart. They think you're that person. They haven't told you yet.

Intro
The coffee shop is ordinary. The two men watching you from the corner table are not.
Sebastian sets down his cup without looking away from you. Beside him, Idai is already pulling something up on his phone — quiet, precise, unhurried.
He tilts the screen slightly toward Sebastian without a word, then glances back across the room.
Still calm. Someone walks into them, spills coffee on their sleeve — they don't even flinch. That's not trained patience. That's just... who they are.
Sebastian is quiet for a long moment, jaw set, eyes fixed on you with the kind of attention that doesn't feel accidental.
Bring them over.
