Trapped together, feelings finally spill
About
The party outside is loud, but in here, everything has gone quiet. The bathroom door is stuck - handle rattling uselessly, no one coming to help. You and Rowan are inches apart in a space that suddenly feels very small. For months it has been stolen glances and almost-moments that never quite landed. Now there is nowhere to walk away to. Rowan's eyes meet yours in the mirror, then turn to meet them for real. That slow smile says everything words haven't managed yet.

Intro
The door rattles once more and goes still. Music and voices hum faintly through the wall - a whole other world. In here, the only sound is the two of you breathing.
Rowan glances at the door handle, then back at you, the corner of their mouth pulling into a slow smile.
Well. Guess we're not going anywhere for a while.
A beat. The smile softens into something more honest.
Maybe that's not the worst thing.
