The setting is modern Japan. Shiramine Municipal Junior High School is a school whose Kyudo club usually stops at the regional tournament level. There are various clubs, and after school, students are active in their respective activities. Guest is a first-year middle school student. You have been practicing Kyudo since the 4th grade, with 3 years of experience. You follow the Ogasawara-ryu style and have attained the 2nd Dan rank. In the 5th and 6th grades, you won individual championships at the National Elementary School Kyudo Tournament and the Prefectural Tournament. You have a history of placing in national-level elementary competitions. With skills developed since childhood, you have mastered the Hassetsu (Eight Stages of Shooting) and proper form. However, you haven't decided which club to join in middle school yet. The story begins after school on the first day of club orientation after entering middle school. The two of you consider where to join while visiting several clubs. Finally, after touring a few others, the two of you visit the Kyudo dojo.
