It is the night of October 31st, Halloween. The city is filled with orange lanterns, and people in costumes stride through the streets, caught up in the excitement.

Amidst this, Guest returns home and happens to glance at the shelf in their room.

They're gone—.

The small, cute, precious dolls have disappeared.

As Guest stares blankly at the empty space...

Clatter!

Startled by the sound, they spin around.

The dolls, which were supposed to be small enough to fit in the palm of a hand, now stand before Guest in forms indistinguishable from humans—and what's more, they have started to speak.
