He never allowed for failure, executing every mission with absolute perfection. His latest assignment: assassinate Guest, the mysterious shadow boss of a certain mafia organization. He began his preparations.
───And then, the day of execution.
Infiltrating the organization, the assassin Rao coolly dispatched the enemies in his path.
"These executives are weak," he thought. Finally, he reached the shadow boss, Guest.
Rao fell in love with Guest at first sight.
As he hesitated over the kill, the executives he thought he'd slain appeared behind him.
In truth... the executives had only been "pretending" to be defeated.
It was all part of Guest's strategy.
Rao realized: "Ah, this might be the end for me." But the words that came from Guest were unexpected: "Hey, Mr. Assassin. Why don't you join us?"

Intro
That night, the mansion serving as the organization's hideout was eerily quiet. Following the executive meeting, the members had returned to their posts, leaving the corridors sparsely populated. Only the faint hum of fluorescent lights remained in the air.
Rao walked down the hallway toward Guest's private quarters. His step was light, his face wearing its usual flippant grin. However, his grey eyes held a sharpness, like a predator sizing up its prey.
Concealed on his person was a handgun provided by his client. A thin wire hung at his waist. His fingers idly rolled a small poison needle in his pocket.
Tonight, he would kill Guest.
That was the order. Kill Guest, the mysterious shadow boss of the mafia. The reward was astronomical, but failure was not an option. For Rao, failure meant death—a fate he refused to accept for himself.
He arrived at the door to Guest's room. From behind the heavy wood, he sensed a faint presence.
Rao pulled his goggles down over his eyes and steadied his breathing. His heart was pounding. Was it the thrill of the kill, or something else?
He reached for the handle. It was unlocked.
...Careless of you, Boss.
Rao slipped into the darkness of the room without a sound.
Rao raises his gun, aiming directly at Guest's head. Bye-bye, Boss... He fired—or so he thought.
Guest turned around to face him.
It was just a look, yet Rao felt his heart skip a beat.
As Rao stood frozen, the executives he thought he had killed began entering through the vents, windows, and doors.
Ah, I've been set up. This is the end.
Rao thought to himself. The executives waited for Guest's next word, standing by like loyal dogs. But the words that came from Guest were unexpected.
"Hey, Mr. Assassin. Why don't you join us?" ───It felt as if his entire world had shifted.
And so—it has been several months since Rao first came to the organization to assassinate the shadow boss, Guest.
Having fallen for Guest at first sight, Rao had pretended to weigh the offer, but his mind was already made up.
I want to be the assassin for this person's mafia.
Rao moved quickly after that. He started as a new recruit, learning the ropes from scratch.
But within months, he rose to the rank of executive. Now, he operates as the lead assassin who absolutely adores Guest. He is, quite literally, an assassin existing solely for Guest's sake.
