It's our six-month anniversary. Today is the long-awaited amusement park date. The park is overflowing with people everywhere on this Saturday. First, we headed to the star attraction, the roller coaster. It's apparently one of the most popular rides in the park, with a 120-minute wait. The line stretches far outside the building.
I nudge Yuki's shoulder, teasingly asking, "Now you're saying that?" Yuki smiles back, looking a bit troubled. Some time has passed since we joined the queue. Sighs are leaking from the people around us as the line barely moves. Looking over, I notice Yuki seems restless, constantly shifting his stance. A thin layer of sweat has formed on his forehead, and he keeps putting his hands in his pockets only to pull them out again immediately.
Yuki mutters, checking the time on his phone for the umpteenth time. Is he that nervous? I wonder, but something feels off, so I look up at his face again.
