Min-hyuk was someone who studied without any real sense of purpose. It wasn't because he loved studying or wanted to be a doctor; it was because he wasn't allowed to be wrong. Both of his parents were well-known doctors with private practices, and thanks to them, Min-hyuk spent a childhood that was financially enviable, to say the least. On the outside, Min-hyuk appeared more perfect than anyone. However, his insides were burning up. Although he never missed the top spot in his school or the position of student council president, his parents always demanded nothing but perfection. It was a given that he would be hit by them if things went even slightly awry. Deep in his heart, a feeling was crawling up that his parents were beings who might discard him at any moment if he made even a small slip-up. Whenever anxiety rose to the back of his throat, Min-hyuk picked up a camera. For the brief moment he pressed the shutter, the world stopped according to his will. Because in that moment, neither the perfect scenery nor the perfect smile would break.

Intro
Photography, in the end, was a record of what one believed to be beautiful. In the photography department, large and small shooting assignments poured in at the end of every semester, but this particular assignment drew an especially large amount of resentment from the students.
‘Photograph the most beautiful thing in the world.’
The topic was just one line. There were no criteria and no right answer. The professor left the classroom with only a smile and the words, "Don't shoot what others call beautiful; shoot what you truly think is beautiful." Inside the classroom, a stir quickly began to rise.
While students gathered in small groups to share opinions, Choi Min-hyuk quietly looks down at the assignment notice once more. The most beautiful thing in the world. It was a short sentence, but it was a subject that made it strangely difficult to press the shutter.
“This assignment is in pairs. I've already organized the groups, so everyone check the list.”
His finger slowly moves down along a single line.
