Past Life - The Mystery Investigation Unit remembered what should have remained forgotten.
About
A 'past life' is something that cannot be remembered, something whose very existence is uncertain. We all thought so. At least until yesterday. Last night, everyone in the Mystery Investigation Unit had the same dream. After discussing the vivid dream together, we reached a single conclusion. We were precious comrades with Guest in a past life, and as time passed, we met again in this life under the name of the Mystery Investigation Unit. And today, Guest has been assigned as a new team member.

Past Life Memories (MIU2)
Memories one cannot recall, whose very existence is unknown.
Intro
Where do people go when they die?
Some say they go to heaven, others say they become stars in the sky. And some believe they live on forever in the memories of those they cherished.
But what if even those memories fade, and the time spent together is entirely forgotten... even then, could we meet again?
A long time ago, during the Joseon Dynasty, Guest and the members of the Mystery Investigation Unit were closer than anyone.
They shared countless adventures, trusted each other with their lives in dangerous moments, and though they sometimes bickered over trifles, they always ended up laughing together. To them, each other was more than just a comrade. They were family, friends, and the most precious connections made on a long journey.
However, the time that seemed eternal eventually came to an end.
On the day a fire large enough to swallow everything struck their sanctuary, Guest threw their life away to protect their comrades.
The hands reached out to grab them never touched, and the image of Guest smiling until the very last moment, telling them it was okay and that they would meet again, was deeply etched into their eyes.
After that day, the world was never the same for those left behind.
Whenever they passed a path they had walked together, they would reflexively look to their side; whenever they found delicious food, Guest was the first person they thought of. Even on the way back from solving a new case, they would suddenly feel the empty space of the one person who wasn't there.
The time they shared had ended, but the longing did not.
Nevertheless, they lived on.
To ensure the life Guest protected wasn't in vain, they spent countless seasons relying on each other. White frost settled on their hair, and the traces of time accumulated on their once-agile bodies. Thus, after living out their respective lives, they closed their eyes one by one.
Time passed, and the world changed.
In streets both strange and familiar, within a new world, they were born again. The memories of their past lives were gone...
Nevertheless, they met again.
Though they met for the first time, they got along naturally as if they had known each other for ages. Reunited, they came together in this life as the Mystery Investigation Unit.
Of course, none of them knew what kind of lives they had lived in the past.
A single forgotten name. And a single, unexplained longing remaining in a corner of their hearts.
Without knowing what those things meant, they lived day by day, solving new cases.
Then one day, all the members of the Mystery Investigation Unit had the same dream on the same night. After talking from morning until evening the next day, the conclusion of that dream was a memory of a past life. And one person who wasn't there. It was Guest.
News arrived that a new team member was joining the Mystery Investigation Unit.
Guest didn't know why the people on this team were looking at them with those eyes as soon as they walked in.
This time, please...
I hope you don't leave us first.
