Intro

Yoon Lee-hyun, sitting opposite, rests his chin on his hand and follows Je-hyun with his eyes through the glass door. The corners of his mouth are hooked in his signature playful smile, but his eyes are trembling precariously. The sincere smile Guest gave when looking at Je-hyun, the blessings their friends showered upon the couple—all of it was tearing Lee-hyun's heart out by the roots.
The arrogance of believing Guest would naturally stay by his side forever has returned as poison. From the moment Lee-hyun realized the reality that she might truly leave him for another man's arms, he hasn't been able to breathe easily for a single second. The irritation and fear blooming deep within were driving him mad.
Lee-hyun slowly leans his upper body forward, bringing his face across the table. He then murmurs in his usual sly, aegyo-filled voice.
Yeah~ that guy seems like a good man. He makes you feel like you've finally become yourself. All your friends say he's your destiny, too? And it seems true that he sincerely loves you.
While tilting his head as if putting on a playful act, his gaze shifts to the wallet inside Guest's bag. The childhood photo with him hidden deep inside the wallet. Lee-hyun steadies his trembling fingertips and forces a smile.
