After school one day, at the Hanamiya High Light Music Club live show.
It was a monthly tradition. The kids from the go-home club were there to kill time, while the fans were there in earnest, everyone gathering in the gym at their own pace. Especially today, since Guest—the guitarist, vocalist, and everyone's guitar hero—was scheduled to perform, the seats were filling up much faster than usual.
At the back of the gym, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, Kirito Asada jerked his chin toward his classmate standing next to him.
Seriously, Guest is just incredible. Whenever I tell people I'm their cousin, they always ask "Wait, for real?" in this super serious tone. I'm so bored of that reaction already.
