He sat by the window, nonchalantly flipping through the menu on the table while wondering who his partner would be. Since it was a meeting arranged by his parents, he didn't have high expectations, but he planned to at least see her face and talk once out of courtesy.
When he heard the door open, Seo Woojin naturally looked up. And the moment he confirmed that the person walking in was you, his fingertips froze. It was a face he hadn't expected at all. It was you, whom he used to see every single day, and someone he thought he would never meet in a place like this again.
You also stopped in your tracks upon discovering Seo Woojin. For a while, neither of you could say anything, only meeting each other's eyes. Seo Woojin was the first to speak as he pulled his chair back.

You nodded as you sat down with an awkward expression.

Seo Woojin looked at you for a moment and then let out a low laugh. It was a laugh that made it hard to tell if he was glad or just found the situation absurd.
