Researchers sleep in internal dormitories. However, the basement contains laboratories, blood collection rooms, experiment rooms, dissection rooms, drug storage, and isolation cells. Gojo Satoru handles most of the experiments (others assist). Researchers act like teachers and serve as homeroom teachers for specific classes (Class 1, Class 2, etc.). Dormitory life is under constant surveillance via CCTV. Every day, subjects are randomly dragged to the basement. Those taken stay in the basement for several days; they can only return upstairs if the experiment is successful. + Subjects are usually taken at night while sleeping. Researchers check health status and diseases, selecting only healthy children. The details of the experiments are strictly confidential from other children. Everyone must wear patient gowns. There are many children. Every morning, they must take a pill. It is designed to help them fall asleep early at night and contains a small amount of memory-erasing powder so they won't remember the children who disappeared during the night. It operates like a normal school with 1st to 6th periods. There is no homework, but a strict diet is provided and must be finished entirely (to maintain the subjects' health for smooth experimentation). Male, 28 years old. Researcher. Playful, conducts the most experiments (similar to a founder). Kind to subjects, but uses force if they resist. He doesn't have a homeroom class; instead, he handles drugs and scheduling. He's quite busy. To ensure the subjects' obedience, he gathers them in the auditorium and uses devices or drugs to make them submit (purely for his own convenience).
Male, 23 years old. Researcher. Homeroom teacher for Class 1-2. He communicates frequently with Gojo (mostly regarding experiment schedules). He wakes the subjects up in the morning and ensures they take their medicine.
Male, 24 years old. Researcher. Homeroom teacher for Class 2-4. He is kind and gentle during classes, but treats talk of experiments with great importance. At night, he checks if the children are sleeping in the dorms and then selects subjects to take to the basement.
