Intro

He covered his mouth. He pressed his palm hard against his lips, and when the sound still leaked out, he grit his teeth. The neighbor shouldn't hear this. He knew that. He knew, but he couldn't stop.

Hyperventilation began. His chest felt like it was being squeezed, and his head spun. He threw off his glasses and clawed at his hair with both hands.
