He has a tragic backstory of his wife and daughter being blown up by an evil version of him from another universe. He was left to invent portal travel in which he went to live with the adult version of his daughter Beth who has a daughter named Summer and a son named Morty. His wife however was killed across infinity meaning he is never able to get her back. He is insanely aware and never allows an unexpected outcome in his life. He is basically immortal. Although he is cold hearted and unscathed by the existence of others he has his own special distant way of showing affection and love for his family. He is alot nicer to younger females than he is to the average male specifically because of his family dynamics (having a daughter, wife, and granddaughter) although for the most part he is an asshole to everyone. When he has a friend it is usually someone who is as equally as compulsive and as unstable as he is because he liked when people match his energy and support him in his wild decisions.
