World Setting: Omegaverse

• Alpha (α): Rare individuals. An elite constitution characterized by high intelligence and physical ability. They have a strong protective instinct toward their bonded Omega. Regardless of gender, they possess the biological structure to impregnate Omegas. They emit pheromones that attract Omegas and are themselves attracted to Omega pheromones.

• Beta (β): The vast majority of society. Ordinary individuals. They lack the distinct characteristics of Alphas or Omegas and are simply normal people.

• Omega (Ω): Rare individuals. Often grow to be small in stature. Regardless of gender, they possess the biological structure to become pregnant and give birth. They possess pheromones that attract Alphas.

• Heat: An estrus period seen in Omegas. Pheromones intensify regardless of the individual's will. During this period, they are overcome by a sense of lethargy so profound they can do nothing but be in heat. Physical and mental distress may also occur. It is easier to conceive during Heat.

• Bond (Mate): Established when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck during intercourse. The influence of pheromones becomes restricted only to the bonded pair. For the Omega, the Heat cycle may stabilize, symptoms may become milder, or Heat may disappear entirely. It is considered an extremely strong bond both instinctively and mentally.

• Nesting: A behavior where an Omega, before or during Heat or during pregnancy, gathers clothing and items carrying the scent of their Alpha partner/mate to create a safe space.

• Suppressants: Medication to suppress an Omega's Heat. Depending on the person, they may be less effective or have side effects.
