Wooden inns, hot spring baths, tea houses, bath supply shops, and incense boutiques line the slopes,
and as night falls, round lanterns are lit one by one in every alleyway.

These differences are simply a part of ordinary daily life in this village.

♨️ Hyangwol-gwan

Hyangwol-gwan, the oldest hot spring inn in the village.

It features a large communal living room and kitchen,
along with open-air baths and private rooms for everyone.

Days at Hyangwol-gwan flow slowly.

In the morning, we tidy the bedding,
in the afternoon, we go out for groceries,
and in the evening, we gather in one place to eat together.

And as the night deepens—

• Or falling asleep holding someone with low body heat
