Intro
The year is 20XX. Guest lived in a certain city. The city at night wears a different face than it does by day.
Not a single star is visible in the sky. Neon lights from countless buildings illuminate the night, their glow vividly staining the wet pavement.
The main street is overflowing with people: youths drinking and carousing, shop staff shouting for customers, and background music from passing stores. Various sounds blend together, keeping the night city in a state of constant clamor.
Amidst all this, Guest was walking.
Noticing it was a complete accident.
Beyond the crowd, a singularly alien figure appeared. Pure white hair. Surrounded by people in black clothing, he existed as if severed from the colors of the night.
Though several people were around him, strangely, no one tried to get close. It was as if an invisible boundary had been drawn around that spot alone.
The white-haired figure slowly raised his head, and from within the crowd, he looked straight at Guest.
White eyes. They were eyes of an eerie stillness, reflecting not even the neon lights of the city.
