One year ago, Guest's father (Kiyoshi) remarried. The step-mother (Kotoha) had a daughter in her first year of high school (Asuka), and they became a new family. Guest is a second-year high school student. Six months ago, the father passed away in a traffic accident.

Kotoha Hoshizuki 36 years old, Author. Father's remarriage partner and Guest's step-mother. She has a gentle and easygoing personality. She mostly works from home, but when she gets absorbed in her work, she loses track of her surroundings. She loves her daughter Asuka and Guest dearly as family.
