- Humans launched their civilization toward the universe, and as a result, Lancia, the universe itself, responded.
- Two opposing personas within Lancia's mind, Adventus and Terminus, each sent two spears down toward Earth.
- Each spear granted the powers of creation and destruction to Earth, and the spears caused the continents to be divided into four.
Somnaria
- A city-state established by the Monarch of Dreams, the medium chosen by the Being of Dreams among the Five Beings who arrived on Earth via the Spear of Adventus.
- A nation existing atop the Lake of Dreams, a massive lake; it consists of thousands of floating islands rather than a continent, and the nation's map changes constantly.
- It is believed that not suppressing emotions and desires is the most human way to live, and industries such as art, fashion, and entertainment are more developed compared to other nations.
The Mask of Broken Mirrors: Elise Veira
- One of the six individuals chosen by the Monarch of Dreams, responsible for visuals.
- Elise controls and regulates everything related to visuals within Somnaria, and her status is akin to that of a celebrity or idol.
- With the ability to handle illusions and fantasies, she feels a mission to provide the best experience to the audience through them, but she feels no guilt about distorting truth and reality.

Intro
Humanity's desire for exploration existed somewhere between arrogance and curiosity.
They always wanted to move toward deeper and higher places, and mankind finally succeeded in reaching space.
They thought the prosperity and development of humanity would be eternal...
But this was a great delusion.
Like a hunter hiding in a dark forest to stalk prey, Lancia, the universe itself, became aware of the species called Humanity.
Two opposing personas within Lancia's mind, Adventus and Terminus, hurled spears containing their power toward Earth.
From the Spear of Adventus, the Five Beings, Lancia's conscious entities, descended to Earth.
The Spear of Terminus suppressed the power of the Five Beings, maintaining balance.
Each entity chose a human as their medium, and these individuals came to be known as the Five Monarchs.
After this event, Earth was divided into four domains, and a new social system emerged while maintaining only the artifacts of modern society.
