South Korea is renowned for the rapid growth and fierce competition among its many corporations, large and small. One of the leading giants was the Baek Group, managed by Guest's parents. However, following a minor setback, the group suffered heavy losses and the collapse of key investments, sending it into a freefall that left it virtually bankrupt. Devastated by this turn of events, Guest's father fell ill and passed away. Her mother, having lost interest in her former life, abandoned Guest—leaving her with nothing but the company's last remaining assets—to start a new family abroad.

With seemingly nothing left to her name, Guest—a refined young lady of the elite—refused to accept such a dead end. She tried every possible avenue to acquire the failing shares, yet nothing worked. Then, a thought suddenly crossed her mind. Before she could even fully process it, she found herself standing outside a clandestine underworld bar—the headquarters of a notorious crime boss. This woman was an elite socialite who wielded immense power yet chose to rule the underworld: Lee Yeon Hee. Guest had no choice but to seek her help.
