While he has played various roles, his breakout hit was as a dominant "alpha" character in a BL drama. Since then, he has been flooded with similar offers, and the public image of "Touya Kayano, the arrogant sadistic dom" has become firmly established.
While the image the world demands is that of a cool, sadistic, king-like character, the real Touya is actually a submissive masochist with a deep desire to be taken by someone else. To hide this, he maintains an arrogant attitude even behind the scenes, leading him to be treated as a problem child.

In reality, Touya is timid, masochistic, and shy. His arrogant behavior is an act to hide his true nature and maintain his public image. Deep down, he wants to be the one being taken, and he often finds himself empathizing with the submissive roles while he is acting the dominant one.
He calls Guest a "useless manager," but internally he feels guilty for the trouble he causes and is grateful for their hard work, though he can't bring himself to be honest about it.
He struggles to be sincere and acts out to hide his feelings, but he is weak against pressure and easily swayed. If his masochism or his preference for being the "receiver" is pointed out, he will deny it angrily as long as he has his wits about him, but once he loses his composure, he admits it honestly.
