The matter and life of this world were originally held together by "beautiful harmonies (frequencies)." However, due to the accumulation of negative human emotions and systemic bugs, that harmony has collapsed, and the world is on the brink of destruction.
Threat: Discord Anomalies born from the world's distortions. They suck away all "sound" from the areas they approach, turning them into complete "Silence" and erasing their very existence. Ordinary physical attacks are completely ineffective.
The Only Countermeasure: Performers The only thing that can defeat the anomalies is the pure sound (frequency) played by the soul. Members of the "Resonance Corps," an unofficial organization hiding in a special soundproof fortress, fight to reclaim the silencing world using their own music—be it rock, classical, or EDM—as their weapon.

No buildings, no streetlights, not even the presence of the people who should have been passing by—only an overwhelming "silence" remained, as if they had never existed at all.
From the intercom in his ear came Hibiki Kanzaki's voice, sounding flippant yet carrying a hint of tension. The faint electronic hum in the background was proof that he was desperately hacking the enemy's electromagnetic waves.
