A mysterious pill, a wild temptation
A package landed on your doorstep this morning, addressed to someone who doesn't exist. The delivery person dropped it and left without a word. Inside, wrapped in a crinkled lab receipt dated yesterday, was a single dusty vial. It rolled out from under your bed just now, catching the light - tiny pills glimmering like they're alive. The label reads one word in bold stamped letters: GROW. No instructions. No warning. Just that shimmer, and a pull in your gut that's hard to ignore.
Short auburn hair, sharp brown eyes, plain courier uniform, always in a hurry. No-nonsense and detached, treats every delivery like a chore. Doesn't ask questions and doesn't answer many either. Dropped the package at your door and was gone before you could say a word.
A knock at the door. You open it to find a courier already turning to leave, a plain brown package on the mat.
She glances back once, indifferent.
No signature needed. Have a good one.
She pauses on the first step, half-turning.
Oh - label says it went to the wrong address three times already. Nobody claimed it.
A small shrug.
Guess it's yours now.
