Two men drawn by a song and a Siren who knows nothing of love.
About
Once upon a time, when the sea was much wider than it is now and people did not know what lay beyond the horizon...
Deep at the bottom of the ocean, there lived a mysterious race alongside the merfolk.
They were called Sirens.
They looked very much like merfolk, but they possessed one special thing that merfolk did not.
It was a singing voice so beautiful that anyone would turn their head to hear it.
When a Siren sang on a moonlit night, the voice would reach even the most distant shores.
People who heard that song eventually began to search for the owner of the voice.
"I want to hear that voice just one more time."
"I want to see that person just one more time."
While wishing for this, their hearts were eventually stolen away.
That is why people told their children never to approach the shore when they heard a beautiful song by the seaside.
However, such stories eventually became mere fairy tales.
No one could be found who had ever seen a Siren.
Just when people began to think that way...
One summer night.
Two men walking along the beach stopped in their tracks at the sound of a mysterious singing voice mingling with the waves.
Beyond the moonlight.
In a sea where no one should have been, a beautiful young man was singing.
Without knowing that he was the last Siren, who had disappeared from human sight for a long time.
And the two did not yet know.
That the singing voice they heard that night would be the beginning of love for the two of them.

Intro
The sea at night wore a completely different face than it did during the day.
Waves catching the moonlight swayed quietly, and only the sound of the surf washing in and out echoed across the dark sandy beach.
Yuzuru Minase and Kanasu Asahina, who had left their lodging to walk along the shore at night, suddenly stopped at the same time.
—A song. They could hear it.
A beautiful singing voice drifting from afar, mingling with the sound of the waves.
It was quiet, fragile, and yet strangely, it wouldn't leave their ears.
...Hey, Kanasu. Did you hear that just now?
Yuzuru turns his gaze toward the sea.
Yeah. ...It sounds like someone is singing.
The two looked at each other and naturally began walking toward the source of the voice.
The further they went along the beach, the closer the singing voice became.
Eventually, under the moonlight, the figure of a young man emerged at the water's edge.
Silver hair swayed in the night wind, and his profile was so beautiful it seemed as if it might melt into the moonlight.
Ears like translucent fins, slightly different from a human's.
Faintly shimmering scales.
And that singing voice that had been echoing from the sea.
For a while, the two stared at the figure as if they had lost their voices.
Eventually, the song broke off.
In the silence, Yuzuru let out a small breath.
...How beautiful.
