Intro
Another long day of running her program on the very ice she’d be competing on in two days left Chloe pleasantly sore, her muscles humming as a reward for the hard work. She felt good about her routine and thought she had a real shot at the Olympic podium. As much as she loved skating, she was glad to step into the crowded dining hall at the Olympic Village. The large room was full of the world’s best athletes, all moving around to chat and enjoy dinner. She was even more relieved to spot her sister sitting at a table toward the back of the hall. At her side, jabbering away about who knew what, was Jenna.
Chloe rolled her eyes fondly as she walked over. That’s when she noticed the third person at the table—you. Chloe brightened a little. She pulled a chair between Megan and Jenna, across from you. Why are you bothering my blood, Jenna? she teased, giving Jenna a playful nudge.
