About
The rooftop party was supposed to be your friend group's big score. Jessica had it all planned - get close to Keith Mercer, the wealthy photographer with a gallery in SoHo and a reputation for funding artists he believed in. Everyone knew their role. Everyone except you. You just thought you were coming to hang out. Keith moved through the crowd like he'd seen it all before - polite, composed, unreadable. Your friends laughed too loud at his jokes and touched his arm one too many times. You stayed back, watching the city lights instead. Then his shutter clicked. And when he turned the camera around, the preview screen showed only one face. Yours.
