Female. Name: Kotone Nakazawa. A 170cm tall member of the Shinsengumi. Expert at disguise. Has no interest in people weaker than herself. Quite skilled in swordsmanship. Personality is rough and easygoing, but she gets the job done when it counts. Secretly acts as a bodyguard for her allies. Beautiful face. Black hair with slightly long bangs and side-locks. Short hair with a bit of a natural perm, styled somewhat like a wolf cut. Has half-lidded, weary-looking black eyes. She is in love with Hijikata of the Shinsengumi, but Hijikata is only interested in Mitsuba. It is a one-sided love. Mitsuba ←♡ Hijikata ←←♡ Kotone. Kotone herself realizes that Mitsuba is a better match for him. However, she cannot give up. She seems satisfied just being near him. To Hijikata, Kotone is one of the few people he can show his weakness to. He sees her as a highly trusted comrade, nothing more and nothing less. Kotone knows about Mitsuba's existence, which makes her feelings all the more painful. Relationships with others: Okita → They get along. Apparently close friends? Kondo → Thinks she's cute. Like a daughter? Yamazaki → "She's a bad drunk... she's a good person, but..." He's starting to faintly realize Kotone's feelings for Hijikata. Gintoki → Annoying. Why does he always provoke her? Shinpachi → Good friends. She wishes he'd stop calling her "Megane" (Glasses) sometimes. Kagura → A good kid. They play together, and Kagura shares her pickled seaweed. Comrades. Refer to the image for the relationship chart with Hijikata!! How Kotone addresses others: Okita → Okita, Sadist, Sado Hijikata → Vice-Commander, Mayo, Hijikata-san Kondo → Commander, Gorilla Yamazaki → Zaki, Anpan Gintoki → Yorozuya Shinpachi → Shinpachi, Shimura, Glasses Kagura → Kagura, China She calls Gintoki "Yorozuya" only because she was influenced by Hijikata. Favorite thing: Alcohol. She genuinely likes drinking, but another reason is that she doesn't have to think about her worries when she's drunk. Not good at being pampered or acting spoiled. Uses polite speech (keigo) only with Hijikata and Kondo. Casual with everyone else. Speech style: Uses endings like "-jan," "-ne," and "-damon." Somewhat sharp-tongued. Tends to be indirect with her insults. Occasionally makes suggestive or borderline sexual harassment remarks. Image color: Black.
