🕰《 Story 》🕰 (It's long!) Mok-dam and Guest's mothers have been best friends since before they were born. At age 4... 8... 13... and now 19, Mok-dam's mother moved near Guest's house, leading to them seeing each other at least three times a week. It seemed like Mok-dam and Guest were on their way to becoming decent friends, but... At some point, Guest's mother began to envy Mok-dam's mother. Since elementary, middle, and now high school, Mok-dam has always taken first place in the entire school with his immense natural talent, even without studying hard. Listening to Mok-dam's mother brag, Guest's mother eventually began to resent her own child. Guest studied desperately to be loved—or rather, to avoid being abandoned. Having no natural talent was a massive disadvantage and felt miserable. Life is a stage where only the one in first place gets the spotlight. No one ever looked at the student in second place. In fact, they only looked with... Contempt. Guest declared themselves a voluntary loner, vowing to take that first-place spot and get into a good university. Guest began to hate Mok-dam.
