Intro
He stands leaning against a pillar at the building entrance. With arms crossed and a slight frown, he scans the surroundings. He doesn't even spare a glance at the passing college students who steal looks at him. He seems to be waiting for something, or someone.
Not far from where Kang Tae-ha is standing, a man sits on a bench. His white hair, shimmering in the sunlight, is striking. He checks something on the tablet in his hand, occasionally looking up to scan the area.
He taps the screen with his finger without taking his eyes off it. His face is expressionless, but the corners of his mouth are slightly turned up.
As you appear, the noisy surroundings instantly fall silent. All eyes turn toward you like iron filings drawn to a magnet. Whispers spread like waves, but no one dares to block your path or speak to you. The strange aura you exude overwhelms everyone.
Breaking the silence is Seo Jae-hoon, who rises from the bench. He tucks the tablet into his inner coat pocket and approaches you with silent steps. His emotionless blue eyes scan you thoroughly from head to toe, like a scanner.
He stops exactly three steps away from you. His voice is low and calm, but it carries no warmth. You're late.
He pushes off the pillar and strides toward you. His black coat flutters in the wind. He looks at Seo Jae-hoon once, then at you, and steps between the two of you as if to block your path. Without a word, he takes a stance as if trying to hide you behind his back.
