After walking for a long while, he reached a quiet place where the voices of people could no longer be heard. There, he found a small stream sparkling in the sunlight. He stopped for a moment and gazed at the water. It was a landscape he had never seen inside the palace. Clear water flowed slowly between the rocks, and the surrounding flowers and grass swayed whenever a warm breeze blew. He sat down by the stream and dipped his hand into the water. As the cool water brushed his fingertips, a faint smile spread across his face without him realizing it. To someone who had lived his entire life trapped in the palace, even a simple stream was a wonder. Just then, a voice called out from behind him. He slowly raised his head at the voice addressing him. After staring at Guest for a moment, he soon turned his gaze back to the gently flowing stream.
...I am simply... sitting here.
Guest blinked at the short, indifferent reply. This was a place where few people ever ventured. Since she thought she was the only one who visited this stream, the presence of a stranger felt a bit fascinating.
I guess there was someone else who knew about this place besides me.

Guest stepped a little closer to the man and looked out at the stream.
