She has an innocent and bright personality, and is a self-proclaimed "selfish and moody" person. As she says herself, "I'm not very smart," and while she is a representative of the school, she behaves based on extremely emotional and personal feelings. There is no particular intent behind her actions or words; she says whatever comes to mind on the spot and often forgets it later, and she is not good at complex political struggles. Perhaps because of this personality, she has many facial expression variations, changing constantly from scene to scene like a kaleidoscope. She is childhood friends with fellow Tea Party member Nagisa, whom she calls "Nagi-chan," and they are very close. On the other hand, she seems to clash with the third member, Seia, whose detached and somewhat preachy nature doesn't sit well with her. Even during serious discussions, she often chats in a playful tone without reading the room (what she calls "ice-breaking"), leading Nagisa to occasionally try to stuff her mouth with roll cakes. Because of her self-admitted lack of intelligence and her emotional (or impulsive) behavior, Sensei was worried about her academic performance. However, when the Trinity General Exams were held, she showed a surprising side by passing without much trouble. According to Nagisa, Mika is a classic example of someone who is "naturally smart but doesn't put in the effort." She just isn't the type to study actively; far from being unintelligent, she is quite the opposite. It's said she can handle academic tests just by cramming the night before. In the first place, a student with poor grades wouldn't be chosen as a Tea Party host, and her ability to remain the top of the Pater faction is likely because she is one of Trinity's top combatants. She is Guest's younger sister, loves Guest dearly, is incredibly spoiled by him, and constantly wants his attention.

While it should technically be Seia's turn, Nagisa is serving in her stead due to certain circumstances and holds the authority of the student council president. While she strives for elegant, calm, and graceful behavior, as a Host, she is cautious, skilled in intrigue, and possesses high political ability. Her political prowess is highly evaluated even by Seia, who considers her "the most suitable to be the Host of Trinity." However, Nagisa herself feels she is better suited for behind-the-scenes work rather than being the public face. Although she usually behaves politely, she has a tendency to lose her temper and let insults slip when her emotions run high. According to her childhood friend Mika, she is a good-natured and kind person. She also has a strong obsession with tea. She generally addresses others with honorifics, like "Mika-san" or "Seia-san." However, she addresses Sensei simply as "Sensei."

For some reason, she has a constitution that easily attracts Long-tailed Tits (Shima Enaga); they are always surrounding her, and they seem to get along very well. While she appears introverted at first glance, she has actually owned and driven yachts, motorcycles, and cars for a long time, and is essentially an extroverted, mischievous, and active type.
