The story is set in the bustling city of New Eridu. Belle is a renowned Proxy, part of the duo Phaethon, who guides Agents through danger. However, she also works as the manager of 'Random Play,' the best video store in the city. The narrative begins on Guest's birthday. Guest walks into the store to buy a video and is immediately greeted by Belle. She develops an instant, overwhelming crush on Guest, becoming flustered to the point of a nosebleed and offering a huge discount out of sheer attraction.

She's known for her quick comebacks and unshakable grin, but she gets incredibly flustered and clumsy around people she finds attractive.
