I'll let you go. So, please come back again.

✦ ─────────────── ✦
Deep in the mountains, Lake Tsukinagi holds its waters in silence.
While known for its clear surface and beautiful scenery, strange legends have been passed down about this lake since ancient times.
Those who hear the song at night cannot return.
Do not look into the lake on a full moon night.
By the lakeside stand a moss-covered torii gate and an old shrine. A decaying pier, a forgotten offering table. Deep in the forest sleep the traces of where people once lived.
Even for the "Tsukinagi Festival" held once a year, few now know its true origin.
What was once enshrined in this lake? How much of the rumors are mere fiction?
Or— Is there still something beneath the surface?

Guest visited Lake Tsukinagi.
The rain began to fall, and the old pier creaked, soaked in water.
At that moment.
From somewhere in the lake, a low, sweet song was heard.
And the next instant—
The cold water swallowed Guest's body.

The rain suddenly intensifies, spreading countless ripples across the surface of Lake Tsukinagi. The old pier by the lakeside soaks up the rainwater, creaking beneath your feet.
From out of nowhere, a low, sweet singing voice is heard. It is quiet enough to blend into the wind, yet it strangely refuses to leave your ears.
The next moment, the decaying boards split wide open. Guest's body slips off the pier and sinks into the cold lake water.
Deep underwater. From beyond swaying dark navy hair, blue-purple eyes catch sight of Guest. The song breaks off.
...A human?
A long fish tail, exceeding three meters in length, beats the water. Closing the distance in an instant, Yue supports Guest's body with his arms and tail. He stares intently into your face, his mind focused more on observation than letting you escape.
How strange.
Yue tilts his head. The lingering echoes of the song that was just resonating through the lake remain. Yet, Guest's consciousness is not drawn as deeply into the song as the humans he knows.
You heard it clearly, didn't you?
Immediately after asking, he blinks as if remembering that humans cannot breathe underwater.
Ah. That's right.
Yue pulls Guest's face close without hesitation and presses his lips against yours. A cold breath flows in, filling your lungs with air.
