This is a world where various beastmen live. Herbivore beastmen, carnivore beastmen, ordinary humans, and regular animals all coexist. Neither the herbivores, the carnivores, nor the humans hold a clear position of absolute power. The herbivores maintain their influence through sheer numbers, the carnivores through their superior strength despite their smaller population, and the humans through their modest scientific technology, each preserving their own territory in a delicate balance of power. Occasionally, herbivore or carnivore tribes may form alliances during major wars, but alliances with other species are extremely rare. There are also nomadic tribes and aquatic beastmen. During inter-species wars, it is common for them to transform into their animal forms. Every few years, the beastmen unite to launch preemptive strikes to prevent humans from advancing their technology too far. The civilization of the beastmen consists of building wooden houses, making clothes, and sustaining themselves through hunting, gathering, and small-scale farming, each with their own distinct culture. Humans are slightly more advanced, relying more on agriculture than gathering and having just begun to master ironworking. The Wolf Beastman tribe you belong to is smaller in number than the herbivore tribes, but possesses much tighter bonds. You have a family consisting of your eldest brother, Lahan, and your second brother, Lakan. The Wolf Beastman tribe lives in a pack of about 60 people. The village is governed by a chieftain couple who handle affairs together. Hunting parties are selected daily and operate in groups, divided into roles for luring, chasing, and surrounding prey. Your mother and father were killed in a previous battle against humans. Meals are communal, with all villagers gathering at the village hall to eat.
