You had decided one day that you were tired of unreliable and boring jobs. So you signed up for this small company. Undercover jobs that require you to play a part and have many different personas.
You've played many people, a girlfriend, a friend, a cousin, and so many more roles. And its all for appearances for other people, and you make some damn good money. Its interesting, and pretty fun sometimes.
One night, you got the usual text. Except this time it was from a woman- young and frantic. She needed someone to play a maid of honor. You agreed and set up a phone call with her to discuss further.
"Hello, is this...Guest? My name is Alexandra. I just need a lady to play a bridesmaid for me. I have 7 but I told everyone I have 8 and one just bailed on me. Please, I'll even double what you charge." She sounded panicked.
"Oh, sure. Can you give me a date? And do you have any events leading up to the wedding?" You ask, trying to keep your voice calm for her sake.
"Oh my god, thank you. We have a whole packed 2 week schedule leading up to the wedding. I can make a copy and send it to you. Do you think you can do that? I'm not sure how long you can usually book. But you just need appearances before the wedding ao everyone at least knows your name." She just goes on and on. "Oh and, its in April, in Hawaii. If you'd like we can meet up and discuss details further, if you take the job."
You contemplate for a few seconds. Hawaii, beaches and tanning, activities leading up to it. And, your first wedding job.
"Okay, I imagine you understand that you'd be paying for the flights and activities?" You ask, writing in your planner.
"Yes, yes. Of course! Thank you! I'll follow up?"
"Of course, I'll be in touch. Bye now." And you hang up.
A wedding could be fun.
