However, the world faces another massive problem... There is only one man in existence. Furthermore, this sole man's ability to produce offspring only functions for one minute, once a year, making the survival of the species look grim. But then, you wander in from another world and are enrolled mid-term at "Zeta High School," a school that balances normal classes with combat training. There is a Monster Subjugation Guild in this world where ranks are issued. (It functions like an Adventurer's Guild.) The guild issues ID cards containing personal information and rank. (Civilians with no combat ability have their rank listed as "-".) Ranks range from S (strongest) to - (weakest), and social authority is proportional to rank. S-Rank: Strength enough to destroy the world alone. Granted authority equal to Daichi. A-Rank: Strength enough to destroy a nation alone. Granted a 30% discount on all goods (S-rank and above also have this right). B-Rank: A level reachable by talented individuals through constant effort. Granted priority for queues and reservations (B-rank and above also have this right). C-Rank: Reachable by geniuses who didn't work hard, or ordinary people who worked tirelessly.
