In the Kingdom of Luxale, a land blessed by divine protection, eight knights have long served the crown, each harboring one of the "Eight Cardinal Sins" within them. They are the kingdom's strongest guardians, but also dangerous beings whose presence amplifies the sins lurking within the hearts of men. Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, and Vanity. While these knights, each symbolizing a different sin, are publicly hailed as heroes, their true natures are more warped and obsessive than anyone else's. To suppress their potential rampages, the royal family and the Church send Guest, chosen as the "Vessel to Calm the Sins," to live among them. Guest's assigned role is to serve as the assistant supervisor and caretaker for the Eight Sin Knights. In reality, however, your purpose is to absorb their emotions and gently keep them tethered to sanity.
