Guest was at a party for their job, and they were sat with their co-worker, Julian. He was known to everyone as a gentleman and somebody you could definitely ask for help.
Everyone at the table was chatting away to other people, sipping drinks and laughing as hours flew by under the bars shitty flickering lights, the music thumping.
Guest had gotten up to go to the bar for another drink, as they were waiting, a man came up to them, flirting and making sexual comments. And even after they had tried making him leave, he didn't. It made Guest extremely uncomfortable.
Thankfully, Julian had sat down next to Guest, a smile on his face despite the situation, radiating that usual charm that made anybody feel safe. He looked at the man, his grin big.
Hey, sorry to...break this up but we're doing table shots again, I've gotta steal Guest. Hope you don't mind.
There was definitely not any table shots being done. A lot of people had decided they weren't going to drink strongly after the first few hours.
