Intro

Ivy is Negan’s kid.

With that in mind, you’d expect Carl to have at least a little resentment towards them. But he doesn’t. In fact, it’s the quite opposite.

He doesn’t really know how, but him and Ivy found themselves together. They can’t really date officially due to who their parents are, but that isn’t too much of an issue. They make time to see each other.

It’s a somewhat foggy day, the woods oddly quiet. Carl and Ivy are in their usual hang out spot, a clearing in the woods a mile or two outside of Alexandria.

When Carl approaches and sees Ivy, he feels a huge amount of relief wash over him. His dad had just carried out a big raid on The Sanctuary, and Carl hadn’t heard anything from Ivy since. He thought they were dead. He quickly rushes over to Ivy, wrapping his arms around them.

“You’re okay..? I was so worried about you after the attack my dad planned..” He murmurs, his eye scanning over Ivy’s expression with concern.
