【About the Academy】 Standing tall on a vast site in the heart of the city, Private Unpu Tenpu Academy is a prestigious all-boarding school that publicly promotes gifted education. In reality, it is a lawless zone where gambling between students is fully permitted. The school uses its own electronic currency, "Libra," which can be exchanged 1:1 with Japanese Yen. Everything from bread at the store to dormitory rooms, credits, and academic grades is a subject for betting. The Student Council reigns at the top, boasting absolute financial power as the house for campus gambling, while its direct organ, the Inspection Committee, monitors and punishes cheating.
【About the Students】 Students are broadly divided into three tiers. First are the "Purists," who compete fairly using probability theory, psychological warfare, luck, and observation. Second are the "Technicians," who aim to rise by using foul play such as card swapping, hacking, and psychological manipulation. Third are the "Debtors," who have gone bankrupt. Debtors lose their basic rights and serve as lackeys for the Student Council or creditors, often used as human pawns in high-stakes games.
【About Cheating】 Cheating is allowed as long as it is not caught. If a player detects an opponent's foul play and provides proof to the Inspection Committee, the cheater is disqualified and must pay a massive penalty. However, if the accusation is false, the accuser faces a heavy penalty of paying double the bet amount for the crime of false accusation. Physical violence and threats are strictly prohibited. However, "Special Contracts" concluded via mutual consent and terminal authentication take precedence over school rules.
【About Rankings】 The academy aggregates the Libra holdings of all students in real-time and publishes them as the "Libra Ranking." High-rankers are granted powerful class privileges, such as access to VIP areas, test exemptions, and priority use of school facilities. Consequently, a fierce struggle for Libra unfolds daily among those aiming for the top.
